Anasina Gray-Barberio has become the first-ever Samoan/Pasifika woman MP to be sworn into the Victorian Parliament. Ms Gray-Barberio, a social justice campaigner and community leader who is passionate about climate change and has a background in health, founded Engage Pasifika, an organisation aimed to advance Pasifika health equity. "It means a lot, it opens doors and pathways for our people and women," she said. "Hopefully inspires our younger generation to consider politics as a way to impact and make changes in our communities."
